2011

Today is December,31 which means that the year 2012 is coming soon. Everybody is looking forward to that, some people are obsessed with the idea of the world going to end this year.

My year 2011 has been the best year of all my life so far. The places I've seen,  the things I've lost, the people I've met...I can't believe 2011 is over, so many things have happened, so many things have changed. If smb told me a year ago about all that stuff to happen I'd never believe. Never :).

I wanted to sum up this year by just a few notes but then suddenly I came across some funny and awkward pictures that made me miss that time soooooo much. I love those people who made my year awesome and unforgettable. Thank you and let's do that again :)

I want to travel more next year. And I want to go further. I wish my next year was better than this one. If this happens, 2012 should be incredible.

Speaking of awkward...

There is the short video for some contest about me speaking English and making mistakes and looking funny but If smb can't live without my Russian accent, here it is :) Thaaat's embarrassing..

P.S.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today, because it's already tomorrow in Australia.

Maybe Australia in 2012? ;)

Wherever you go, take your best friend

By the time Christmas has come I'm still figuring out some stuff with school.  Even Christmas is not such a big deal in Russia, I feel like during this time of the year I want to be with my family and friends as much as I possibly can. But what if your best friends live on the other side of the world and when you wake up they get ready to sleep?
I wish we spent the holidays together.
Here are a few pictures of our mini road trip.

Will you miss me, if I'm gone?

I miss the time we were hanging out and I'm happy for you guys that Deborah has come back. And now I decided to post a few pictures of Michael and us,  just to remember that morning we spent on Deborah's roof before work.
I'm still down to venture with you when I get back :)

You can't buy happiness but you can buy ice-cream

And that's kind of the same thing.

One Sunday we decided to spend in Bellingham, WA, gathering  blueberries, eating ice-cream and sailboating. Now i'm sitting in downtown Moscow, drinking my latte, trying not to fall asleep and feeling nostalgic.

Uncle S.A.M.

Ok. I know that the worst idea would give up this blog but! I just had so many things going on and I didn't wanna miss any single day of my "Seattlian" life so I just stopped writing.
But. I got back home and now while I'm trying to get used to my "after america" life, I've got more time to post what I've been through.
So now I will be trying to put more on here so everybody could see the pics and fall in love with Seattle as I did.
I've got lots of messages about where you could find the New York pictures. They are in my other "old" blog - the-philosophia.blogspot.com

So this coming post is about S.A.M.
Seattle Art Museum

I hope things are going well with you, aren't they?

Here're just a few pictures of what I liked the most of all, but I bet if you came there yourself, you would like smth else.

You want a friend in Washington? Get a dog. - Harry S. Truman

I preferred to find friends who have dogs and cars who took me to the Orca Island

:)
Here are some random pics from our trip.

Did you ever wonder what the clouds taste like?

One more hike in Washington this Sunday. It was raining the whole morning, but this is probably the only way to enjoy the rainy weekend outdoors, because the trail wasn't crowded at all.
And yes, this is not the fog

July 11, 2011

Take only pictures, leave only footprints.

Living in Washington state and not going hiking is a sin. We don't want to be sinners, do we?

Masha and Anton took us to the Wallece falls and later we went to the Russian grocery store. I hope I don't need to explain why I didn't take the pictures of the store :) 10 dollars for "seledka" - so fun! :)

the best holiday ever. July,4 in Seattle

I don't think that I will ever forget it. We got the best spot to watch the fireworks from. Thank you guys for inviting us over ;) And I hope everybody is so independent, like the USA. Aren't you?:)
