We are tied to the ocean

Amazing weather brought lots of people to the Pacific coast in Cape Kiwanda, Oregon for a very special day. The coast itself is a gorgeous part of the state to spend a day at, but I didn't think it would be that beautiful at night. The sky was bright for a long time because of the Day of Independence and we got the best spot to watch the fireworks from. I must say, I'm very lucky about spending my "4th of July" days( last year it was in Seattle, WA). But this one is even more special. Because of climbing to the top of the dune in the morning, company and Pacific ocean.

honestly

I wish some things have never happened. I really do. I don't know, maybe my life would be even worse  without those things, but seriously... I wish that thing never happened. I'm staying positive about lots of things and I appreciate what I have but that little thing I wish just never happened. I'm not sure why I'm writing this on here. Maybe this way my wish will come true and everything in my life would be different now. Seriously, blog.

Out and about Polina

Recently I've been feeling a bit weird, like something is going wrong but I can't tell what exactly. Maybe it has to do with the weather or probably just one of those times when only some little things make me excited. But there are two little girls in my life who always make my days.
Two weeks ago my nieces came to visit me so we decided to go outside and play a little bit. After a while I realised that those pictures would make a whole photoshoot and I'm very grateful that my nieces are always up to something like that. I learned how to skateboard a little and didn't hurt myself, so we had lots of fun a enjoyed sunshine for the whole afternoon.

P.S. Polina was chosen this week for a photoshoot in Vogue Kids magazine. Good genes ;)

Rodeo

When I travel someone I really want to experience something that I can't experience back home. The place itself is something new but I like to adopt foreign traditions and feel like I'm a part of it. A day before the 4th of July while I was still in Oregon we went to the rodeo which turned out to be so much fun. Maybe after a couple of horse-riding lessons I'd be able to take part in the rodeo next year?

Oh, and I tried real elephant ears!!
Oh, and I also saw two deers!

In the Basket Slough in the morning I wanted to see a deer so much so when I saw this little bush I was so excited at first!

That's why I need a macro lens

Not a bush this time :)

Elephant ears!!
